Hey, piece of cake. I’m working on it though.

Well, I think I have injured myself in the most unique way so far. This morning, as I was rescuing a semi-burnt pop tart from the toaster,  the liquefied (and boiling hot) remains of some sugary substance oozed onto my hand. It quickly hardened and became stuck to my skin. It was still very hot in it’s solid state mind you. The fingers on my left hand can attest to this as they were slightly burnt while trying to remove the pop tart magma. Â

I’m in the process of upgrading WordPress to the latest version. So far everything seems to be working well. I’ve had some issues with migrating my old posts to the new database, but nothing I can’t deal with. Most notably the categories associated with each post have not carried over. I’ll have to figure something out.
This new version of WordPress has an export function to allow moving the data much easier. It will be helpful if I move to a new installation or upgrade in the future.

As a part of this, I’m creating a new WordPress theme for the page. I’m not sure how well I like it so far.
